Meet Shermicia

Hi, I’m Shermicia (pronounced Sher-me-see-ya), a digital strategist and program manager with 10+ years of demonstrated success driving marketing campaigns/projects via social, influencer marketing, and public relations (PR).

I currently lead the global digital strategy and marketing programs for Johnson & Johnson, Janssen, AstraZeneca, and Novartis. I’ve launched multiple campaigns to raise awareness, educate, and drive patients and their families to actively manage various diseases. These campaigns have garnered millions of impressions, engagements, video views, and patient advocates.

As a natural creative problem-solver, my friends and colleagues know me as “The Fixer” – someone who has or can find a solution to almost any problem. I leverage data and design thinking to make informed decisions and surpass expectations.

I’m a native New Orleanian who knows that bringing kindness to any job is just as important as hard work and skill. I’ve used this mindset and my talents to drive a global campaign that featured an NFL Hall-of-Fame inductee, to secure 600+ earned media stories for the grand opening of a new, state-of-the-art airport, and to launch an integrated marketing campaign that generated $15 million in revenue.
